You're invited to 'Pool' - a regular dip (or dive) into movements and applications
Happily there is now a critical mass of people who've benefited from Thalassio sessions and demand for more regular engagement with different practices and others engagement in them.
So, you are invited to join us at an upcoming 'Pool' event!
Pool is a regular online/in-person gathering to explore movement practices that enable us each and all to be effortlessly effective in fluid situations. Pool events are suitable for absolute beginners, experienced practitioners and lineage masters.
Themes and practices
5 days before each Pool, a movement in focus and theme for the dialogue will be chosen and updated in the event description. This can help you discern if it's for you. However Pool isn't as formal as a class so expect to be actively involved and expect it more like a 'jam' in the musical sense, but at least we'll have a starting 'key' to riff off and someone to 'keep the rhythm'.
Place, time and agenda
There is a link to join virtually for every Pool event. If there's opportunity to join in-person (usually Mosman Park, Fremantle or Witchcliffe) that will be in the notes of each event. The format will be
- a brief initial opening ritual to get present and connected
- first half of the hour is guided movement practice, introducing a new movement or novel take from someone with the experience to teach it,
- a short break to enable transitions and biological needs (e.g. drink, bathroom)
- the second half of the hour is for community dialogue on questions arising from the first half, or people's practice
- a brief closing ritual to enable integration and transitions.
Practical considerations
